The basic non-licensed software for Military ET ( EERE3500) is only available through Caterpillar Defense and Federal Products Department (Military_Electronic_Technician__Support). The features of Military ET are listed below:
EERE3500 is the basic version of Military ET and is the software disk, similar to JEBD3003, along with a license imbedded in the program.Note: Further licensing is not required for the basic version of Military ET.
Military unit is offered anytime opportunity with the appropriate version of military ET.
Military ET can be installed on any computer, and will work without licensing the software. But only on machines/engines that have unique military serial number prefixes.
Military ET is able to flash military ECMs (Electronic Control Module).
The software bundle includes the flash files for military serial number prefixes.
Military ET gives maximum flexibility in the field to service Cat® military hardware.
Military ET service is now possible to have on commercial Cat products by licensing the copy with EERE3501. Contact your Cat Technical Communicator (TC) for licensing the copy of EERE3501.Note: Military ET will not work on commercial Cat products without an additional license, EERE3501.Note: The person requiring the license must have the basic version of Military ET (EERE3500), installed on the computer.Note: Military ET can now service military and commercial Cat products, but still will only flash military units.Note: Commercial ET (JEBD3003) and Military ET (EERE3500) cannot be installed on the same computer.The basic version of Military ET is the equivalent to the JERD9129 (Dealer ET) license. However, requesting factory passwords is not possible. Once licensed with EERE3501, Military ET becomes a mix of both JERD9129 and NEXG5007. JERD9129 for the military products and NEXG5007 for the commercial products.For more information on list of products supported by EERE3500, refer to the above mentioned reference.
