Information:

Remove Lift Cylinder (815B)
1. Fasten a strap and hoist to the lift cylinder. Remove bolts (1), cap (3) and shims (2) that connect the lift cylinder to the blade.
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
3. Disconnect hoses (7). Put plugs or caps in the openings of the oil lines to prevent loss of oil.4. Remove bolts (4), retainer (6) and pin (5). Remove the lift cylinder. The weight of the lift cylinder is 41 kg (90 lb.).Install Lift Cylinder
1. Put lift cylinder in position on the machine. Install pin (2), retainer (1) and the bolts.2. Connect oil lines (3) to the lift cylinder.3. Let the cylinder rod out until contact is made with the ball joint. 4. Install original shims (4), cap (5) and the bolts. Check to make sure cylinder rod does not bind. Add or remove the minimum amount of shims necessary until there is no end clearance.Disassemble Lift Cylinder (815B)
start by: a) remove lift cylinders1. Remove and install the ring and the bearing in the cylinder as follows: a) Use tooling (C) and a press to remove a ring, a bearing and a ring from the cylinder. b) Use tooling (C) and a press. Install the ring with the edge of the bevel down. Install the ring until it is even with the outside surface. c) Turn the cylinder over. Use tooling (C) and a press to install bearing (2) and ring (1). The ring must be installed with the edge of the bevel down even with the outside surface. 2. Remove the bolts and disconnect clips (4). Remove oil lines (3). 3. Install the cylinder on tooling (A) as shown. Slowly extend and retract the cylinder rod to push the oil out of the cylinder.4. Remove setscrew (5) from the crown. 5. Use tooling (B) to remove crown (6) from the cylinder.6. Make a separation of the rod assembly from the cylinder assembly. 7. Remove bolt (7) and washer (10). Remove piston (8) and head (9) from the rod assembly. 8. Remove wear ring (11) and seal assembly (12) from the piston. 9. Remove seal (13) and seals (14) from the inside diameter of the head. 10. Remove O-ring seal and backup ring (15) from the outside diameter of the head.Assemble Lift Cylinder (815B)
Put clean oil on all parts during assembly.1. Clean and inspect all parts. Make a replacement of all parts that are worn or damaged. 2. Install seals (1), (2) and (3) in the head. Seal (3) can be installed either way. Install seal (2) with the lip toward the inside of the cylinder when installed. Use tooling (C) to install seal (1) with the lip toward the outside of the cylinder when installed. 3. Install backup ring (5) and O-ring seal (4) on the head. The backup ring must be installed away from the oil in the cylinder. 4. Install the inner part of seal assembly (7) on the piston. Use tool (D) to
