Right Side View of Machine
(A) HVAC cover
Remove nonmetallic HVAC cover (A) from the right-hand side of the operator cab by removing fasteners. Retain the fasteners for use in Step 16.

(B) Wing nuts
(C) HVAC circulation cover
Remove HVAC recirculation filter cover (C) by removing the two wing nuts (B), as shown in Illustration 2. Remove the HVAC recirculation filter that is underneath HVAC recirculation filter cover (C).

(E) Receptacle
Remove and discard cable strap (D) that secures receptacle (E) of the temperature probe.

(F) Harness connector plug
Disconnect receptacle (E) of the temperature probe from wire harness connector plug (F).Note: Disconnecting the wire harness will make removal of the probe and the nonmetallic cover easier.

Remove temperature probe (G).

(J) Fasteners
Remove 14 fasteners (J) from the nonmetallic cover (H) and retain the fasteners to be used in Step 10.Note: The fasteners may either be a T30 or an M10 hex head fasteners.

Nonmetallic cover (H) should be free to pivot back from the rest of the HVAC unit, as shown in Illustration 7.

(K) 9X-2044 Screws
Remove two screws (K). Retain screws (K) in order to be used in Step 9.

(L) Side brackets
Install bracket support (3) by sliding over side brackets (L). Install two screws (K) that were retained in Step 8. Tighten screws (K) to a torque of 6 N m (53 lb in).
Rotate nonmetallic cover (H) back into position and install 14 fasteners (J) that were retained in Step 6. Tighten 14 fasteners (J) to a torque of 6 N m (53 lb in).
Reinstall temperature probe (G) that was removed in Step 5.Note: Take caution to properly align the probe in order to prevent damage to the coil or the probe.

(F) Harness connector plug
(H) Nonmetallic cover
Reconnect receptacle (E) of the temperature probe from wire harness connector plug (F) and secure with cable strap (1).
Clean the filter cover mating surface on the conditioner group and make sure none of the adhesive from the previous seal remains. Clean the surface of the filter cover.

(2) 302-8727 Seal
(B) Wing nuts
(C) HVAC circulation cover
Remove the adhesive backing from seal (2) and install the seal on HVAC filter cover (C) in the same location where the previous seal is located.
Reinstall HVAC recirculation filter cover (C) and recirculation filter. Hand tighten two wing nuts (B) that were removed in Step 2.
Replace nonmetallic HVAC Cover (A). Tighten fasteners to a torque of 6 N m (53 lb in).
Ensure that the HVAC system functions properly.
Remove lock out from machine.
