Remote pressure taps
(R2) Pilot supply pressure tap
(R5) Implement pump discharge
Attach Tooling (B) or high-pressure side of Tooling (D) to pilot supply tap (R2).
Start the engine. Warm the hydraulic oil to 55° 10°C (131° 18°F).
Operate the engine at HIGH IDLE.
Move the lift control lever to approximately 25% to 33% of the RAISE command. Record the differential pressure on gauge (D7) or Tooling (B) while the bucket is still moving into Table 2 of the "Data Sheet". This is the margin pressure for the front hydraulic pump. The margin pressure should be 2800 100 kPa (406 14 psi).
If margin pressure is not within specifications, perform the steps in "Adjustment Procedure (Margin Pressure Valve Spool)".
Detach Tooling (B) or the low-pressure side of Tooling (D) from Tooling (F).
Remove Tooling (F). Reconnect hose (3) to the rear pump controller.

(10) Cutoff pressure valve spoolAdjustments to the flow compensator valve can be made on the machine.
Perform Step 1 through Step 12 of "Test Procedure (Margin Pressure)".
Loosen locknut (6). Maintain the position of adjustment screw (7).
Turn adjustment screw (7) clockwise to increase the pressure setting. Turn adjustment screw (7) counterclockwise to decrease the pressure setting.Note: Turn adjustment screw (7) counterclockwise past the desired pressure setting. Then, turn adjustment screw (7) clockwise to the correct pressure setting. This method of adjusting the pressure setting eliminates any movement
