The following diagnostics are for the control panel in Illustration 1.Error codes are automatically displayed on the control panel when specific problems occur in the heating and air conditioning system. When the control module recognizes an error, the control panel will display an E in the right character of the LCD panel.The specific error code can be displayed when the power is turned on by holding both the temperature control knob and the fan speed knob. The error code will be displayed for 2 seconds in the characters that are located in the last two places on the left of the LCD panel. If multiple errors exist, cycle through the errors by turning the fan speed knob.Pressing the fan speed knob will clear all error codes.Note: The exception is error code "016". During the 15 seconds after the key is turned to the ON position, the control panel will display an E in the right character of the LCD panel. Diagnostic mode must be entered within the 15 seconds after the key has been turned on in order to view error code "016".
