Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to control valve (30) .
Remove bolts (35) and the washers that secure control valve (30) to the transmission.
Remove control valve (30) from the transmission. The weight of control valve (30) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).Removal Procedure (Out of Chassis)

Remove bolts (2) and washers from manifold (1). Remove manifold (1) .

Remove O-ring seals (3) from manifold (1) .

Remove nut (5) from harness assembly (4) .

Remove bolts (6) and washers that secure retainer (7) to the transmission case. Push harness assembly (4) through retainer (7). Remove retainer (7) from the transmission case.

Remove gasket (8) .

Remove bolts (9) that secure plate (10) to cover (11). Remove plate (10) from cover (11). Remove bolts (12) that secure cover (11) to case assembly (13). Remove cover (11) from case assembly (13) .

Remove cover gasket (14) from case assembly (13) .

Remove O-ring seal (15) from harness assembly (4) .

Remove locking bolt (18) and washer (17) from control valve (16) .

Remove O-ring seals (21) from sleeve (20) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to control valve (16). Remove bolts (22) and the washers from control valve (16). Remove control valve (16) from case assembly (13). The weight of control valve (16) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).
