This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3149" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3149" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 1066538/">106-6538 Bearing Retainer used in the 773D and 775D Trucks may not have received a heat treat operation. A new retainer needs to be installed.

2 - 4S5924 SEAL-O-RING2 - 1066538 RETAINERAction Required
Remove the 1066538/">106-6538 Retainer and replace with a new 1066538/">106-6538 Retainer from the cat parts system.
All parts in the parts system have been checked for hardness.
Do not adjust the wheel bearings. Remove and replace the retainer. Reuse the shim pack.
Owner Notification
U.S. and Canadian owners will receive the attached Owner Notification.
Service Claim Allowances
This is a 10-hour job to replace both retainers.
U.S. and Canadian Dealers Only - Eligible dealers may enter a Type 2 SIMS Report.
Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
