Remove bolts (1) and remove cover (2).
If the disassembly of the Rear Power Take-Off Drive is necessary then proceed to Step 4.
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the Rear Power Take-Off Drive where bolts (1) were removed. The weight of the Rear Power Take-Off Drive is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove bolts (4). Use Tooling (C) in threaded holes (3) in order to remove the Rear Power Take-Off Drive.

Bend the locking tabs on lock (7) out of the slots of nut (6). Use Tooling (A) to loosen nut (6), but do not remove the nut.
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to Rear Power Take-Off Drive (8). The weight of Rear Power Take-Off Drive (8) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Use Tooling (C) in order to aid in the removal of the Rear Power Take-Off Drive.

Position drive adapter (11) onto a suitable press. Press drive gear (10) out of bearing (9) and drive adapter (11).

Position Tooling (F) and ensure that the tooling is contacting bearing (13) on the bearings inner race.
Position the drive gear assembly (10) and Tooling (F) onto a suitable press and remove bearing (13) and spacer (12).

Remove bolts (14) and remove retainer plate (15).
Remove inner race (16) from adapter drive.
