E390(1) Fuel Filter Restriction The difference between the filtered fuel pressure and the unfiltered fuel pressure is greater than the trip point pressure. The code is logged.
The operator is notified through the cab display.

Fuel Filter Elements
Replace the fuel filter elements.
Prime the fuel system. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for information.
Restart the engine and check for an active event code.
If the above event code remains active, check for logged diagnostic codes that are related to the fuel pressure sensor. If logged codes are present, check for intermittent problems in the harness or in the wiring to the fuel pressure sensor. Refer to Troubleshooting, "Electrical Connectors - Inspect" for information that is related to intermittent electrical problems.
