It is possible for the frame of the harvester head to fall when it is parked in the vertical position. To avoid personal injury or death and equipment damage, wrap a chain around one leg of the frame and one leg of the yoke. Secure the chain in an appropriate manner.
Store the Harvester head vertically. This will prevent oil from leaking onto the feed rollers. Oil will damage the rubber tires of the feed rollers.A chain should be secured around the Harvester head and the yoke. This is done in order to prevent the Harvester head from falling if a hydraulic cylinder should fail.
The Harvester Head should be stored in a vertical position. This will prevent any hydraulic oil from leaking onto the feed rollers. Damage to the feed rollers will occur if if oil is allowed to come into contact with the rubber tires.
