(A) Axle Differentials (B) Interaxle DifferentialsThere are two types of differential locks that can be engaged. The first type of differential lock is the interaxle differential lock. Locking the interaxle differential lock provides torque to all three axles. If additional traction is required, the axle differential locks may also be engaged.Note: Disengage the differential locks when the ground conditions improve.It is possible to lock the interaxle differential only. Alternatively, the interaxle differential and all three axle differentials can be locked simultaneously. The axle differentials can only be locked when the interaxle differential is also locked.

Interaxle Differential Lock Switch
ENGAGED - Press the switch (1) and hold the switch in order to engage the interaxle differential lock. The alert indicator will illuminate on the dash panel.
DISENGAGE - Release the switch (1) in order to disengage the interaxle differential lock.

Axle Differential Lock Switch
ENGAGED - Engage the interaxle differential lock. Press the top of the switch (2) in order to engage the differential locks for the axles.
DISENGAGE - Press the bottom of the switch (2) in order to disengage the differential locks for the axles. Note: If the switch for the interaxle differential is released, the differential locks for the axles will also disengage.Note: When both the interaxle differential lock and the axle differential locks are engaged the machine ECM will disengage the axle differential locks at higher speeds. The axle differential locks will engage again when the ground speed is decreased.
