Information:

1. Identify and disconnect all hydraulic lines (1). 2. Remove four bolts (2) and remove pedal and valve. Install in the reverse order.Remove & Install Hydraulic Accumulator
At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Be sure the engine has been shutoff for a minimum of five minutes to be sure that the accumulator oil pressure is zero. The accumulator is filled with dry nitrogen. Do not loosen or remove the valve or cap from the top of the accumulator. A bleed screw (2) can be used to release any pressure that is left in the system. Failure to follow the procedures can result in personal injury.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system by slowly loosening the fill plug located on top of the hydraulic oil tank.2. Identify and disconnect hydraulic lines (1). Remove clamp (3) and remove accumulator (5). Call out (4) is a gas valve cover. Install in the reverse order.
If the accumulator needs to be charged, dry nitrogen is the only gas approved for use in the accumulators. The charging of oxygen gas in these components by accident will cause an explosion. This hanger can be avoided by the use of nitrogen cylinders with standard CGA (Compressed Gas Association Inc.) No. 580 connections. Do not go by color codes or other methods of identification to tell the difference between nitrogen and oxygen cylinders. In any application, never use an adaptor to connect your nitrogen charging group to a valve outlet used on both nitrogen, oxygen or other gas cylinders. Be sure you use dry nitrogen.
Remove & Install Accumulator Charge Valve
1. Identify and disconnect all hydraulic lines (1).2. Disconnect switch (2) from valve (4). Call out (3) is an adjusted. Install in the reverse order.
