Engine Overspeed Control
Personal injury or death can result from a brake system malfunction.Driving the machine for an extended period with the engine over speed control activated can cause severe damage to the braking system components.When traveling down hill, use the same gear range used for driving uphill. Do not change gear while traveling down hill. Do not allow the engine to over speed while traveling down hill. Apply the service brake in order to reduce the engine speed.

The engine over speed control is automatically activated. The engine over speed control assists the operator to reduce engine over speed events, and prevents possible engine damage.During machine operation if the engine speed increases to 2150 rpm the engine over speed indicator will illuminate. The engine over speed control will automatically apply the service brakes to regulate engine speed.Note: If the torque converter lockup clutch is enabled and the engine speed reaches 2425 rpm, the torque converter lockup clutch will disengage.
