To prevent personal injury, drain the fuel tank before any lines are removed or disconnected.
1. Drain fuel in a suitable container for storage or disposal.2. Raise the engine hood. 3. Disconnect hose assemblies (1), (2), (3) and (4). 4. Disconnect hose assemblies (7) and (8).5 Loosen two clamps (6) and remove hose (5). 6. Remove two bolts (10), washers and nuts that hold filter base (9) to the fuel tank. 7. Attach Tooling (A), lifting straps and a hoist to the fuel tank as shown. 8. Disconnect wire assembly (11) from under the fuel tank. 9. Remove two bolts (12), washers and spacers that hold the rear of the fuel tank to the frame of the machine. 10. Remove bolt (13), washers, spacer and nut that holds the front of the fuel tank to the frame of the machine.11. Remove the fuel tank. The weight of the fuel tank is 257 kg (525 lb). For installation of the fuel tank, reverse the removal steps.
