Walkway Fold
The walkway can be folded in order to provide more clearance. Fold the walkway when backing up to start paving at a wall, or to shorten the machine for transportation. Use the following procedure in order to fold the walkway:

Remove pin (5).
Raise center platform tube (6).
Install pin (5).
Remove pin (2).
Fold walkway (1). Use multiple people, or a suitable lifting device in order to fold the walkway.
Place the end of bar (4) in walkway holder (3).
Install pin (2) through walkway holder (3) and end of bar (4). Center Platform Tube Raise / Lower
If more than 2% crown is added to the screed, the center platform tube must be lowered. Lowering the center platform tube will allow the center platform to maintain contact with the guides. Use the following procedure in order to raise or lower the center platform of the walkway:
Remove pin (5).
Raise or lower center platform tube (6) to the desired height.
Install pin (5).
