Install two bolts (32) in plate (33). Turn bolts (32) in order to remove plate (33) from the dowels. Remove plate (33).

Attach a suitable lifting device to carrier assembly (34) and remove carrier assembly (34). The weight of carrier assembly (34) is approximately 30 kg (67 lb).

Inspect seal ring (40) and sleeve bearing (35) for wear or damage.
Drive roll pins (37) into pin (38) past carrier housing (36). Remove pins (38). Remove gears (39) and the thrust disc.

Remove three friction discs and two clutch plates (41).
Remove bolt (42).
Inspect seal (43) for wear or damage.

Position the rotor transmission up in order to access the yoke assembly.
Remove the bolt, the retainer, and seal (44) from yoke assembly (45).
Remove yoke assembly (45).

Remove bolts (46) from cover (47).
Remove cover (47) and inspect the seals for damage or wear.

Remove bolts (48) from bearing housing (49).
Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to bearing housing (49) and remove bearing housing (49). The weight of bearing housing (49) is approximately 38 kg (84 lb).

Put bearing housing (49) in a suitable press and remove output shaft (50). Inspect the bearings and bearing cups (51).

Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to housing assembly (52) and remove housing assembly (52) from the case. The weight of housing assembly (52) is approximately 52 kg (115 lb).

Remove bolts (53) from the housing (52).
Inspect seals (54) for damage or wear.

Remove balance piston (59) from gear (60). Inspect the bearings and seals on the balance piston and the gear for wear or damage.
