E192 (3) Steering System Malfunction Note - The following Event can cause this code to activate:
Loss of ground speed
Loss of engine speed
41 (8V Sensor Supply)
262 (5V Sensor Supply)
296 (Trans/Chassis ecm)
590-9 (Engine ECM Abnormal Update Rate)
1471 (Steering Lever Position Sensor #1)
1472 (Steering Lever Position Sensor #2)
1473 (Steering Lever Position Sensor #3)
1674 (Solenoid Return #1)
2177 (Primary Steering Disable Solenoid)
2200 (Left Steering Cylinder Position Sensor)

E252 (1) Loss of Key Table Information An unauthorized key has been inserted into the key slot of the machine. Refer to Machine Security System in the Maintenance Manual.
E256 (3) Steering Output Detected in Wrong Direction Immediate safe shutdown is required.
Usually occurs after servicing.
Possible causes are the following:
- Hydraulic hose connections are reversed.
- Electrical connections of the secondary solenoid are reversed.
- Hydraulic steering valve is malfunctioning.
Refer to Troubleshooting, “Steering Direction is Opposite of Expected Direction” for additional troubleshooting.
E257 (3) Steering Output Detected with No Command Given This event will only activate if the steering spool position sensor is faulted.
Operating the machine in rough terrain is forcing unexpected movement of the front wheels.
Hydraulic steering control valve problem.
There is a problem in the electrical circuit of the steering valve control solenoids.
Hydraulic hose connections are reversed.
Immediate safe shutdown required.
Front wheels moving without command.
Possible causes:
Refer to Troubleshooting, "Steering Movement Without Request" for additional troubleshooting.
E258 (3) No steering detected with command given This event will only activate if the steering spool position sensor is faulted.
Mechanical problem with the steering valve
Electrical problem with the steering valve
Mechanical problem with the front axle linkage
Machine wheels are locked into a position due to external forces/obstruction
Immediate safe shutdown required.
Refer to Troubleshooting, "Steering Does Not Function" for additional troubleshooting.
E263 (3) Low Main Pump Pressure This event code is associated with the main hydraulic pump discharge pressure. This event indicates that the main hydraulic pump pressure sensor reading has dropped below 1900 kPa.
Immediate safe shutdown required
Check hydraulic oil fluid level
If hydraulic fluid level is not low, refer to Testing and Adjusting, UENR3480: Motor Graders Hydraulic and Steering System, Hydraulic System Pressure Test and Adjust for further troubleshooting information.
E560 (3) Secondary Steering Pump Pressure Not Responding to Command Secondary steering test results in insufficient pump pressure.
Electrical problem in the secondary steering pump motor circuit.
Mechanical problem with the secondary steering pump.
Immediate safe shutdown required.
