Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the proper draining and filling procedures.

Disconnect harness assembly (1) from pressure sensors (2). Position the harness assembly out of the way.
Remove pressure sensors (2).

Remove the dust cap from valve (5).
Use Tooling (A) to remove oil filters (6).
Remove elbow (3). Remove tube assembly (4) and the O-ring seals.

Remove bolts (7) and nuts (8).
Remove filter bases (9) and (10). Discard the gaskets.

Remove hollow studs (17) from filter bases (9) and (10).
Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove bolt (11), washer (13), and cover (13) from filter bases (9). Remove spring (15) and remove valve plunger (16).Installation Procedure
Install filter bases (9) and (10) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of hollow studs (17). Tighten to 80 14 N m (59 10 lb ft).
Install new gasket (14). Install new gaskets for filter bases (9) and (10).
Lubricate all O-ring seals and the seals for oil filters (6) with clean engine oil.
Once oil filters (6) are seated against the base, tighten one additional full turn.
Lubricate the bore for pressure sensors (2) with clean engine oil. Tighten to 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).
