Swivel (3) Port to the travel parking brakes (F) Front of the machine
Disconnect the brake release line (3) for the travel parking brakes at the swivel. Install a 6V-9508 Face Seal Plug in the brake release line. Cover the port with a cloth in order to prevent contamination from entering the hydraulic system. This will ensure that the travel brakes will not release when the travel function is actuated.
Start the engine.
Warm the oil. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "General Information" for the proper procedure for warming the hydraulic oil.
Set the throttle switch to position 10.
Observe the pressure gauge. Stall the travel function in both directions. The pressure gauge should read less than 100 kPa (15 psi). If the pressure is less than 100 kPa (15 psi) stop the engine and proceed to Step 24. If the pressure is greater than 100 kPa (15 psi) excess motor leakage may be present.
Stop the engine.
