Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the radiator, hydraulic oil cooler, air cooler, and fuel cooler.
Remove the diesel exhaust fluid tank.
Remove the diesel exhaust fluid pump.
Drain the fuel. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment Drain" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Disconnect harness assembly (1) and hoses (2).

Remove bolt (4), the plate, and clamp bodies (3).
Remove bolt (6), the plate, and clamp bodies (7).
Cut cable strap (5) and cable straps (8).

Remove bolt (10), the plate, and clamp bodies (11).
Cut cable strap (9).

Cut cable strap (12) and disconnect harness assembly (13).

Disconnect harness assemblies (14), (15), and (16).

Remove bolts (19), the plates, and clamp bodies (18). Move the hose assemblies and the harness assemblies out of the way.

Remove clip (20) and angle (21).

Remove bolts (23) from valve assembly (22).
Remove bolt (25), the plate, and clamp bodies (26). Move the hose assemblies out of the way.
Remove angle (24).

Remove bolt (28), the plate, and clamp bodies (27). Move the hose assemblies out of the way.

Remove bolts (30) from filler assembly (29).

Remove bolts (31) and bracket assembly (33).
Use two people to remove fuel tank (32). Remove fuel tank (32). Installation Procedure
Install fuel tank (32) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolt (28) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
Tighten bolt (25) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
Tighten bolts (19) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
Tighten bolt (10) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
Tighten bolt (6) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
Tighten bolt (4) to a torque of 12 2 N m (106 18 lb in).
