Remove the existing parts from the steering column.Reference: Refer to the appropriate Disassembly and Assembly manual for your tractor for the correct procedure.

Insert lock screw (1) through the middle of the steering wheel, as shown. Tighten lock screw (1) to a torque of 2 to 3 N m (18 to 27 lb in). Then loosen the lock screw by turning the lock screw by 15 degrees.
Position lever (9) in the slot in the steering wheel. Fasten the lever to lock screw (1) by using two screws (2). Tighten the two screws to a torque of 3 to 4 N m (27 to 35 lb in).
Position spring (5) in lock screw (1). The spring must be assembled so that the male prong in the spring is inserted into the recess in lock screw (1) .
Position contact cup (7) on spring (5) .
Position base plate assembly (3) over the spring and the contact cup. Fasten the base plate assembly by using three screws (8). Also, install screw (4) in the base plate assembly. Tighten screw (4) to a torque of 1.5 to 2 N m (13 to 18 lb in).
Install horn button (6) on contact cup (7) .Required Parts for 219-7915 Lever Kit
