This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5303" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The track motor may fail due to port plate smearing on certain 330B and 330B LN Excavators. Severe damage to the track motors, which destroys piston slippers and retraction plates, is caused by high case drain pressure. This in turn is caused by excessive leakage into the motor case from smeared port plate to barrel faces. After a failure occurs, an improved barrel assembly needs to be installed and any other damaged parts need to be replaced.

Install a new 1373805 Barrel Assembly and replace only the required damaged parts after each failure.
The parts list will include a full list of required parts for a total wipe out failure. Many motors will require less than the full list of parts. A new 1373801 Motor Group may be needed in very few cases.
