2-Flywheel clutch inspection cover. 3-Left steering clutch control rod. 4-Clutch control lever. 5-Remove oil filter, manifold and relief valve as a unit. 6-Universal joint. 7-Right steering clutch control rod. 8-Oil lines. 9-Oil line.
10-Bolts (eight) securing adjusting ring bracket to flywheel. 11-Bolts (twelve).
12-Eyebolts (two). 13-Forcing screws (two).
14-Secure the clutch and disc assembly to cover assembly with wire. Remove the disc assemblies and pressure plate from flywheel.
Use extreme care when lifting out clutch to prevent clutch assembly from sliding off the clutch shaft.
15-Hub retaining bolts (three). Remove hub.Disassembly And Assembly
1 Tools required to pull bearing race from shaft: 8B7548 Push Puller, 8H663 Bearing Pulling Attachment, 8B7549 Legs.2 Install seal with spring loaded lip toward roller bearing.3 Install retainer ring before installing bearing.4 Tools required to remove bearing: 8B7548 Push Puller, 8H663 Bearing Pulling Attachment and suitable spacer.5 Tools required to remove bearing race from flywheel: 5F7345 Forcing Screw, 8B7554 Pulling Attachment, 8B7560 Step Plate. 6 Install seal spring loaded lip toward bearing. 7 After installing clutch, adjust as outlined in the Lubrication and Maintenance Information part of this manual.8 Install bearing to dimension (A).9 Install bearing to dimension (B).
A-Dimension is .25 in. (6,35 mm). B-Dimension is 1.81 in. (46,0 mm).
