Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B) . Remove Tooling (B) by removing bolts (33) .

Install tube assembly (31) from the rear side of the radiator by installing bolts (32) . The bolts are located at the top and the bottom of tube assembly (31) .

Install channel assembly (30) by installing bolts (29) and the washers.

Connect harness assembly (27) and harness clips.
Install bolts (24) and the washers in order to install tube assembly (28) . Repeat for tube assembly (26) .
Connect tube assembly (25) and tube assembly (23) .

Install bolts (18) and the washers in order to install elbow (19) onto bottom tank (20) . Install gasket (21) . Repeat the removal for elbow (22) .
Inspection Procedure

Check for damaged seals and for any obvious bow in center tank, bottom tank, and top tank.
Ensure that the seals are installed flush to the center tank, the bottom tank, and the top tank.
Check the dimension between seals (X) and cores (Y) , at the bottom side of the center tank, and the bottom side of the top tank. Take measurements at different cores. The measurement must be less than 5 mm (0.197 inch).
If the gap is larger at the center ( more than 5 mm (0.197 inch)) and the measurement decreases closer to the side channels, then the bottom tank, center tank, or top tank may be damaged.
Do not assemble the radiator if the bottom tank, center tank, or top tank are damaged. Replace the damaged tanks.
Refer to Testing and Adjusting , "Visual Inspection" and Testing and Adjusting, "Radiator and Cooling System - Test".

Hand Tightening Sequence
Use the following steps to install the fan shrouds.
Position shroud (11) . Install bolts (10) at Location (A) , hand tight.
Position shroud (12) . Install bolts (13) at Location (B) , hand tight.
Position shroud (8) . Install bolts (7) at Location (C) , hand tight. Install bolts (9) at Location (D) , hand tight.
Install bolts (6) at Location (E) , hand tight.
Position shroud (15) . Install bolts (16) at Location (F) and bolts (14) at location (G) , hand tight.
Install bolts (17) at Location (H) , hand tight.
It is critical to start the tightening sequence with bolts (7) , bolts (9) , bolts (14) , bolts (16) .
Beginning at the middle of the shroud and working toward the edges of the shroud, tighten bolts (7) , bolts (9) , bolts (14) , bolts (16) to a torque of 22 2 N m (195 18 lb in).
Beginning at the middle of the shroud and working toward the edges of the shroud, tighten bolts (10) and bolts (13) to a torque of 22 2 N m (195 18 lb in).
Beginning at the middle of the shroud and working toward the edges of the shroud, tighten bolts (6) and bolts (17) to a torque of 22 2 N m (195 18 lb in).
