Information:

1. Drain the oil from the circle drive.2. Put identification on oil lines (3) as to their location on circle drive motor (2). Disconnect the oil lines.3. Remove nuts (1) and the washers that hold the circle drive motor to the circle drive. Remove circle drive motor (2). Remove the O-ring seal from the motor. The washer that is between the carrier assembly and the circle drive motor can be removed with the motor.Install Circle Drive Motor (Earlier)
1. Install new O-ring seal (2) on circle drive motor (1). Put circle drive motor (1) and washer (3) in position on the circle drive.2. Install the nuts and washers that hold the circle drive motor to the circle drive. Connect the oil lines to their correct locations on the circle drive motor.3. Fill the circle drive with SAE90 oil to the correct level.Disassemble Circle Drive Motor (Earlier)
start by: a) remove circle drive motor 1. Remove bolts (1) that hold plate (3) to housing (2). Remove the O-ring seal and the needle bearing from the plate. 2. Install tooling (A) on the housing as shown. Put the barrel in compression with tooling (A) enough to remove ring (5) from the shaft.
Do not remove ring (4) at this time.
3. Slowly release the compression on the barrel. Remove tooling (A). 4. Remove the barrel from housing (2). Put the barrel in position on tooling (C) as shown.
Tooling (C) must be used to prevent damage to the face of the barrel.
5. Remove shaft (6) from the housing. 6. Remove race (8).7. Put identification on pistons (9) as to their location in barrel (11). Remove spider (7) and the pistons. Remove the pistons from the spider.8. Remove pivot (10) from the barrel.
TYPICAL EXAMPLE9. Install tooling (D) in the barrel. Put the spring in the barrel in compression with tooling (D).10. Remove ring (4) from the barrel with tooling (B).11. Slowly release the compression on the spring. Remove tooling (D) from barrel (11). 12. Remove washer (12), spring (14) and washer (13) from the barrel.13. Remove retainer (16). Remove the three pins (15). 14. Remove ring (17) and seal (18) from the housing.15. Remove race (20), bearing (19) and race (21).Assemble Circle Drive Motor (Earlier)
1. Install the races and the bearing in housing (1). Put a race on each side of the bearing.2. Install seal (2) in the housing with tooling (A). Install the seal with the large sealing lip toward the inside of the housing.3. Install the ring in the housing with tooling (C). 4. Install retainer (5) in barrel (8). Do not put the groove in the retainer in alignment with the grooves in the barrel.5. Install pins (7) in their correct locations in the barrel. Put washer (4), spring (6) and washer (3) in position in the barrel. Install tooling (B) in the barrel. Put the spring in compression. Install the ring in the barrel. Remove tooling (B). 6. Put the barrel in position on tooling (F). Install pistons (12) in spider (11).
