The Marine Engine Control Panel contains the following components:

ProtectionThe CPU module in the programmable logic controller contains the software that controls the behavior of the programmable logic controller.Power Supply
An input of 24 VDC is typically provided by a battery set. The power supply delivers a voltage for the following components: the CPU, the chassis and the input and the output modules that are mounted on the chassis. The power supply has the following features:
Isolation from ground
Ability to handle lower battery voltage
Immunity from noiseCPU Module
The CPU module provides the intelligence for the system. The program for the system resides in the CPU module.Discrete Input Modules
The discrete input modules consist of digital input modules. Digital modules are used in order to determine whether a circuit is ON or OFF.Analog Input Modules
