Limit Switch (Service Brake Pedal)
The limit switch for the service brake pedal has three contacts. The ground wire A235-BK is connected to the ECM at contact J2-63. The normally open contact on the switch is connected to the ECM at contact J2-30 (wire F787-GN). This indicates that the brake pedal is unlocked. The normally closed contact on the switch is connected to the ECM at contact J2-31 (wire F790-BR). This switch is closed to ground when the brake pedal is fully depressed.Position Switch (Armrest)
The operator armrest position switch indicates the position of the armrest to the ECM. The switch has three contacts. The ground wire A235-BK is connected to the ECM at contact J2-63. When the armrest is in the UP position, ECM contact J2-28 (wire E918-GN) is connected through the switch to ECM ground. When the armrest is in the DOWN position, ECM contact J2-23 (wire E917-WH) is connected through the switch to ECM ground.Pressure Switch (Brake Oil Accumulator)
The pressure switch for the brake oil accumulator is connected to the ECM at contact J1-33 (signal wire X778-PU) and contact J2-63 (ground wire A235-BK). Pressure Switch (Operator Service Brake)
The pressure switch for the service brake is connected to the ECM at contact J1-40 (signal wire E973-GY) and contact J2-63 (ground wire A235-BK). Switch (Key Start)
The key start switch provides an input to the ECM. The key start switch informs the ECM of an attempt to start the engine. Then, the ECM initiates the start procedure.During normal machine operation, the start terminal of the key start switch is open. If the key start switch is placed in the START position the start terminal will close. +Battery voltage is supplied to the start terminal. When all starting conditions are satisfied, the ECM sends a +battery signal to the start relay and engine cranking begins.Note: After the key start switch is initially turned to the START position, the switch will not return to the START position from the ON position. The switch must be turned to the OFF position first. Then, the switch can be turned to the START position.
