Install O-ring seal (10) to trunnion (8) .

Attach Tooling (A) to trunnion (8) . Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A) . Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist. Install trunnion (8) to the housing. The weight of the trunnion is 254 kg (560 lb). Install Tooling (B) to the housing. Remove Tooling (A) from the trunnion.

The bolts should not be reused after the bolts have been tightened to the recommended torque and then turned by an additional amount.
Slide trunnion (8) toward the housing. Install 14 new bolts (9) that secure trunnion (8) to the housing. Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 875 125 N m (645 92 lb ft). Turn the bolts by an additional 120 5 degrees after the bolts have been torqued. Remove Tooling (B) from the housing.

Install the remaining two new bolts (9) that secure trunnion (8) to the housing. Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 875 125 N m (645 92 lb ft). Turn the bolts by an additional 120 5 degrees after the bolts have been torqued.

Attach a suitable lifting device to support (7) . Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist. Install support (7) to trunnion (8) . The weight of the support is 703 kg (1550 lb). Remove the tooling from the support.

Install bearing (6) to the support.

Tooling (D) must be modified in order to be used as a guide bolt. Place Tooling (D) in a suitable vise. Remove the head of the bolt in order to use Tooling (D) as a guide bolt.
Attach Tooling (C) to plate (4) . Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (C) . Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist. Install plate (4) to the trunnion. The weight of the plate is approximately 49 kg (108 lb). Install Tooling (D) and Tooling (E) , as shown. Remove Tooling (C) from the plate.

Note: Do not reuse bolts (5) . Replace bolts (5) with new bolts.
Slide plate (4) toward the trunnion. Install 16 new bolts (5) that secure plate (4) to the trunnion. Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft). Remove Tooling (D) and Tooling (E) from the trunnion.

Install the remaining four new bolts (5) that secure plate (4) to the trunnion. Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft). Install bearing (3) to plate (4) .

Apply 4C-9505 Gasket Sealant to cover (2) before installation. Attach Tooling (F) to cover (2) . Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (F) . Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist. Install cover (2) to the support. The weight of the cover is
