1. Remove cover (1) and primary air filter element. 2. Remove eight bolts (2) and secondary air filter element. Remove two 12 point bolts (3) that retain air cleaner to elbow. Remove bolts (4) and air cleaner housing from bracket. 3. Remove bolts (5) and remove air cleaner mounting bracket. Remove bolt (6) then remove breather cap with O-ring from the valve cover. Remove bolt and clip (7). 4. Remove bolts (8) and remove valve cover and gasket. The following steps are for installation of the valve cover. Inspect the valve cover gasket and replace if necessary.5. Position gasket, valve cover and install bolts. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 10.9 2.8 N m (96 24 lb. in.).6. Install clip (7). With O-ring in place, position breather cap and install bolt (6). Position bracket for air cleaner and install bolts (5).7. Position air cleaner housing and install bolts (4). Install bolts (3) that retain the air cleaner to the elbow. Position the secondary air filter element and install bolts (2).8. Install primary air filter and cover (1).End By: a. install hood
