The space between the body and the frame becomes a zero clearance area when the body is lowered. Failure to install the retaining cable can result in injury or death to personnel working in this area.
Note: Put identification marks on all hose assemblies, on all tube assemblies and on all wire harnesses for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to prevent contaminants from entering the system.
Drain the hydraulic oil from the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist, Torque Converter and Brake Tank Oil - Change".

Remove plug (2) in order to drain the hydraulic oil from control valve (1).
Reinstall plug (2) in order to prevent contamination.

Disconnect hose assembly (3), hose assembly (4), and hose assembly (5) from control valve (1).

Disconnect hose assembly (6) from control valve (1).

Disconnect hose assembly (7) from control valve (1). Position hose assembly (8) and adapter (9) out of the way.

Disconnect hose assembly (10) from control valve (1).

Disconnect hose assembly (11) and clamp (12) from control valve (1).

Disconnect harness assembly (15) from solenoid (16).
Disconnect hose assembly (17). Disconnect tube assembly (19). Remove tube assembly (18).

Disconnect hose assembly (23) from the hydraulic tank.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto control valve (1). The weight of control valve (1) is approximately 141 kg (310 lb).
Remove bolts (24) in order to remove control valve (1).
