Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the cab.
Drain the hydraulic fluid. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Disconnect clip (1) for the transmission breather hose from hydraulic tank (4). Disconnect bracket (2). Disconnect clamp (3) and reposition the cab harness assembly out of the way. Disconnect hoses (5). Disconnect hose assemblies (6).

Disconnect nitrogen oxide sensor (10) from the back of the hydraulic tank. Disconnect harness assembly (11) from the back of the hydraulic tank.

Disconnect harness assemblies (12) from the air filter box. Disconnect harness assembly (13) from the ether valve. Disconnect ether line (14) from the ether valve.

Remove panel (15). Repeat for the opposite side.

Disconnect harness assembly (16) from the hydraulic tank.

Attach a suitable lifting device to hydraulic tank (4). The weight of hydraulic tank (4) is approximately 181 kg (400 lb).

Remove bolts (17). Repeat for the opposite side.

Remove bolt (18). Repeat for the opposite side.

Raise the hydraulic tank and move the hydraulic tank forward enough to access clip (19). Clip (19) connects the ether line to the back of the hydraulic tank.
Remove hydraulic tank (4). Installation Procedure
Install hydraulic tank (4) in the reverse order of removal.
