"Save Operator" (2) - This mode is used to record the settings that have been changed by the preference menu for the current operator if selected or the default operator if the operator has not been selected."Recall Operator" (3) - This mode is used to confirm whether the supplementary information is included with the operator ID."Operator Setup" (4) - This mode is used to record a new operator ID, or erase an existing operator ID. The following sub-menus are available under operator setup:
1: Create Operator - Allows a new operator ID to be added to the list of operators.
2: Change Operator - Allows the user to update or change an operator ID.
3: Delete Operator - Allows the user to select and delete an operator ID."Service Toggle Mode" (5) - Allows the service technician to toggle the service mode from OFF to ON. Use the following procedure to turn the service mode ON:
Turn the key start switch to the ON position.
Press the setup key (8) in order to enter the "ID Menu".
Press the "5" key. Then press the "OK" key in order to access the service mode password entry screen.

Enter the default password "4646" with the numeric keys on the keypad. Then press the "OK" key. This will allow access to the service mode toggle screen.

Use the arrow keys to toggle the service mode setting from the OFF position to the ON position.

A verification screen (illustration 9) will appear momentarily confirming that the service mode is now ON.Note: The service mode is automatically turned OFF when the key start switch is turned from the ON position to the OFF position."Factory Defaults" (not shown) - Press the number "6 " on the key pad. This option allows the operator to reset the current settings for the operator to the original factory settings.
Dig Mode Key (10) - This key is yellow. Push this key in order to perform the following functions:
Select the heavy lift mode.
Enter the number "5" when a numerical entry is required.
Select option "5" from a text menu.
Travel Speed Key (11) - This key is blue. Push this key in order to perform the following functions:
Toggles between high travel speed and low travel speed.
Enter the number "6" when a numerical entry is required.
Select option "6" from a text menu.
Cancel Key (12) - This key is red. Push this key in order to reject a prompt choice or a setting value.
Help Key (13) - This key is white. Push this key while you are in a text menu in order to access the help screen. Table 2 shows a typical help screen.
