Contact 8 for the 12-pin connector on the panel. The ECM provides 0 volts in order to turn on the audible alarm. The ECM provides 12 volts in order to NOT turn on the audible alarm. The audible alarm is in parallel with other components that can turn on the audible alarm independently by providing a ground. The ECM will also control an alarm disarm. Contact 11 for the 12-pin connector on the panel. The ECM provides 0 volts in order to disarm the alarm. Note: Another component cannot enable the alarm when the alarm is disarmed. The ECM provides 12 volts in order to arm the alarm. Note: Diagnostics are NOT provided for the monitoring system.
