Park the machine on level ground with the implements lowered.
Turn OFF the engine and battery isolator switch.

(1) Swing assembly lower bearing grease plug.

Locate the swing assembly lower bearing grease plug and unscrew the plug using 1/4 inch Allen drive on the 305.5E, 306E, and 306E2. On the 307E and 308E the Allen drive is not needed to unscrew the lower bearing grease plug.
Item (2), (3) and 4 are pre-assembled to make up the grease fitting assembly. Screw in and tighten the grease fitting assembly into the lower bearing grease port for the 305.5E, 306E, and 306E2.

For the 307E and 308E machines, install the 3B-8485 Elbow into the lower grease port as shown in Illustration 4.
Apply grease through the grease fitting assembly until a strong resistance is felt. The greasing frequency is once every 1000 hours.
