Torque to 20 2 N m (177 18 lb in).
5 - - Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant between the mating surfaces of the gear group and the upper frame assembly and between the gear group and the carbody assembly.
6 38 8T-0357 Bolt Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Anti-Seize Compound to the threads. Do not apply Loctite C5A Anti-Seize Compound to the bolt seats and washer faces.
Torque to 270 40 N m (199 30 lb ft).
7 34 447-1708 Bolt Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Anti-Seize Compound to the threads. Do not apply Loctite C5A Anti-Seize Compound to the bolt seats and washer faces.
Torque to 270 40 N m (199 30 lb ft).
8 1 095-1299 Dowel Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A Anti-Seize Compound to the threads.
9 - - Position “S” that is on inner race (9) relative to the carbody assembly and bearing stopper (1). Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.
