Use the following procedure for assembly on the 7W8600 Fuel Injection Control Group:1. Assure two 6V5698 Screws in inboard brackets are loose.2. Tighten the outer bearing brackets A and C to 0.2 N m (2.6 .1 lb ft) after installed on the engine.3. Tighten the inner bearing bracket B to 3.5 0.2 N m (2.6 .1 lb ft) after installed on the engine.4. Position the inner bearing to allow free rotation of the rack control rod.5. Tighten 6V5698 Screws on inboard brackets to 3.5 0.2 N m (2.6 .1 lb ft).6. Control rod must rotate when force of 4.4 N (1 lb) or less is applied to control lever in direction indicated by arrows.
