Machine Preparation
Clear all personnel from the machine and from the area around the machine.
Start the engine.

Engine speed dial
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.
Position the machine on level ground. Check the visibility and adjust the mirrors for the best vision close to the machine.
Fully depress the service brake pedal until the service brake pedal locks mechanically.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 46° to 60° C (115° to 140° F).
Lower the stabilizers, the blade tip, and/or the implement to raise the front axle and the rear axle. This action will allow the wheels to turn freely.Note: All tires must be fully off the ground.
Fully extend the bucket cylinder and place the bucket on the ground.
Stop the engine.
Raise the left console.

Start the engine.

Push down on the power mode control button to activate power mode.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when power mode is activated.

Automatic Engine Speed Control (AESC) as displayed on the programmable function key in the monitor.
Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Hydraulic modulation aggressive mode (monitor display)
Select the hydraulic modulation mode as aggressive. Press the lower front switch on the left joystick to select the hydraulic modulation mode.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.

Set the engine speed dial at "1".
Start Cat© Electronic Technician (ET) and set the override parameters.
Select the Engine ECM in Electronic Technician.
Select “OK”.
Select “Diagnostics” from the main menu.
Select “Diagnostic Tests”.
Select “Override Parameters”.
Select “Travel Motor Swashplate Angel Limit Solenoid Current Override” and set the current to 0.0 amp.
Select “Travel Forward Select Solenoid Current Override” and turn the solenoid to ON.
Select “Travel Pilot Solenoid Current Override” and set the current to 0.9 amp.
Lower the left console.
Release the service brake pedal.
Depress the travel pedal to the FULL FORWARD position.
Check the transmission output speed and engine speed in Cat (ET).
Fully depress the service brake pedal until the service brake pedal locks mechanically.
Disable all overrides in Cat (ET).
Stop the engine.
Raise the left console.
Compare the transmission output speed with the specifications in Table 1.
If the transmission output speed is not within the specification, refer to the"Adjustment Procedure"to adjust the maximum displacement.Adjustment Procedure

Travel motor
(1) Maximum displacement stroke limiter
Loosen the locknut on maximum displacement stroke limiter (1).
Turn the adjustment screw on maximum displacement stroke limiter (1) counterclockwise until the stroke limiter no longer contacts the swashplate.
Then continue to turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise one additional full turn.
While the adjustment screw on maximum displacement stroke limiter (1) is being held, tighten the locknut to the specified torque.
Repeat the "Test Procedure". If the transmission output speed values are not within the
