Remove lip seals (17) from tilt lever (12).

Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (D) and remove the sleeve bearing from tilt lever (12). The weight of Tooling (D) is approximately 40 kg (90 lb).Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (D) to install the sleeve bearing in the tilt lever. Install the sleeve bearing to a depth of 14.2 0.5 mm (0.559 0.020 inch) below the outside surface of the tilt lever.

Apply Tooling (E) in the bores of the tilt lever. Use Tooling (G) to install lip seal (17) on each side of the tilt lever. Install the lip of the seal toward the outside of the tilt lever. Apply Tooling (H) on the lip of the seals.

Use Tooling (C) to install a sleeve bearing on each end of the tilt link. Install the sleeve bearing to a depth of 13 1 mm (0.52 0.04 inch) below the outside surface of the tilt link.

Apply Tooling (G) in the bores of the tilt link. Use Tooling (G) to install a lip seal (16) on each side of tilt link (15). Install the lip of the seal toward the outside of the tilt link. Apply Tooling (H) on the lip of the seals.
Apply Tooling (H) in all pin bores on the pin assemblies.

Position the tilt link in the tilt lever. Install pin assembly (14).
Install bolt (13), washer, and spacer in pin assembly (14).

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt lever (12). The combined weight of tilt lever (12) and the tilt link is approximately 545 kg (1202 lb). Position the tilt lever and the tilt link in the lift arm.

Attach a suitable lifting device to pin assembly (11). The weight of pin assembly (11) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Install pin assembly (11). Install bolt (10), washer, and spacer to pin assembly (11).

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt link (9). Position tilt link (9) on the bucket. Install pin assembly (8). Install bolt (7), washer, and spacer to pin assembly (8).

Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (6) as shown. The total weight of tilt cylinder (6) is approximately 227 kg (500 lb). Position the tilt cylinder in the tilt lever. Start the machine. Extend the rod assembly of the tilt cylinder until the pin bore of the cylinder is in alignment with the pin bore of the tilt lever.

Install pin assembly (5). If necessary, use Tooling (F) to install the pin assembly.
Install bolt (4), washer, and spacer to pin assembly (5).

Install lube line assemblies (3) onto tilt link assembly.Install covers (1) and (2).End By:
