Hot oil and hot components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot components to contact skin.
Never remove the fill/vent plug from the hydraulic tank if the oil is hot.Air can enter the system and cause pump damage.
Park the machine on level ground. Lower the bucket to the ground with the stick in a vertical position, as shown.

(A) High temperature range
(B) Low temperature range
(C) Mid temperature range
If the hydraulic oil temperature is between 10° to 30° C (50° to 86° F), maintain the oil level in low temperature range (B). If the hydraulic oil temperature is between 50° to 80° C (122° to 187° F), maintain the oil level in high temperature range (A). If the hydraulic oil temperature is between 31° to 49° C (87° to 121° F), maintain the oil level in mid temperature range (C).Note: Perform Step 3 through Step 5 if the oil level is low.

Inspect the pressure cap. Replace the cap if damage is evident.
Clean the pressure cap and install the cap.
