Information:

Procedure to install the new parts: 1. Position the new handrail on the platform and bolt it to the platform using six of the existing mounting holes. See Illustration 1.2. Use the new handrail as a template and drill the two new holes shown in Illustration 1.
Illustration 1. Installing new handrail and support bracket on earlier machines.3. Weld the 3/8"-16 nut to the bottom of the platform at the drilled hole for the center leg. Reinstall the same bolt at this location.4. Refer to Section J-J in Illustration 2. Cut the large hole in the bottom of the platform directly below the previously drilled hole for the handrail mounting bolt. This is an access hole for a 3/8" socket.5. Install and tighten the mounting bolt through the access hole.6. Use the cover plate as a template to drill and tap two bolt holes at the socket hole. See Illustration 2.7. Install the cover plate to keep mud out of the platform channel.8. Relocate the latch for the battery lid at the front of the lid as shown in Illustration 1, with the lid in the raised position.9. Reinstall the same latch parts, except for the new mounting bracket.
