1. Loosen the clamp that holds the ejector assembly in position. Remove ejector assembly (1).2. Open right hand engine access doors (2) on the hood group. 3. Loosen clamp (3), and disconnect hose (4) from the muffler. 4. Remove two bolts (5), the washers and nuts that hold he muffler to the mounting bracket on the engine. 5. Loosen clamp (7), and remove muffler (6) from the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the muffler.6. Put muffler (6) in position on the machine. Install two bolts (5), the washers and nuts that hold it to the mounting bracket on the engine.7. Position clamp (7) so it is 2.5 0.8 mm (.10 .03 in) in from the end of the muffler. Tighten the clamp bolt to a torque of 25 7 N m (20 5 lb ft).8. Reconnect hose (4) to the muffler.9. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the bearing surfaces of the muffler and ejector assembly and on the threads of the bolt for the clamp that holds the ejector assembly to the muffler. Reinstall ejector assembly (1). Tighten the bolt for the clamp that holds to the ejector assembly to the muffler to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).
