1. Remove five bolts, then remove winch guard (1). 2. Loosen adjusting bolt (2) and two bolts (3) to loosen chain (4). 3. Remove cotter pins and remove master link (5). Remove chain (6). 4. Remove eight bolts (8) and drive yoke (7). 5. Remove twelve track bolts (10) and three track shoes (9). 6. Remove two bolts (11) and plate (12). Remove two nuts and disconnect two rods under plate. 7. Remove cotter pin and pin to disconnect linkage (13). Remove cotter pin and pin to disconnect linkage (14). 8. Remove four bolts from transmission cover and install four 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolts.9. Fasten a hoist to the transmission.10. Put wood blocks under transmission. 11. Remove the bolts (15) that hold the winch transmission to the winch frame. Lower the winch transmission on to the wood blocks. Then remove the transmission (16). Weight of the transmission is 350 lb. (158 kg).Install Winch Transmission
1. Fasten a hoist to the winch transmission (1).2. Put the winch transmission in position on the winch base. 3. Install the nuts (2) and bolts that hold the transmission to the winch frame. 4. Connect linkage (4) with pin and cotter pin. Connect linkage (3) with pin and cotter pin. 5. Connect two rods and two nuts under plate (5). Install plate (5) with the bolts that hold it. 6. Install three track shoes (6) and the bolts that hold them. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 180 to 260 lb.ft. (247 to 354 N m) plus 1/2 turn. 7. Install drive yoke (7) and the eight bolts that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 20 3 lb.ft. (25 4 N m). 8. Install chain (8) on its sprockets. Install master link (10), plate (9) and the cotter pins. 9. Tighten or loosen adjustment bolt (11) so the drive chain has 5/8 in. (15.9 mm) free movement between the sprockets. Tighten the bolts (12) and nuts. 10. Install the drive chain guard (13).end by:a) install counterweight cylinder
