Removal Procedure
Install the truck body retaining cables. Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cable (Truck Body Retaining)".
Release the system pressure. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure Release".
Drain the rear axle oil cooler into a suitable container for storage or disposal.

Disconnect hose assembly (1), hose assemblies (2), and harness assembly (3). Remove the connecting hardware. Position hose assembly (1), hose assemblies (2), and harness assembly (3) out of the way.

Disconnect hose assemblies (4).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto oil cooler (5). The weight of oil cooler (5) is approximately 77 kg (170 lb). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Remove bolts (6). Remove oil cooler (5). Installation Procedure
Install oil cooler (5) in the reverse order.
Check the oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)".
