Description of Change: The engines that are listed above contain new valve springs that are now used. The new valve springs went into production in June 2004.Adaptable To: The new valve springs add an additional coil that will increase the strength of the exhaust springs. The outer 7W-7082 Spring was replaced with a 214-0586 Spring. The inner 7W-7083 Spring was replaced with a 224-4441 Spring .Use the replaced part numbers in order to replace a broken valve spring. Replace the outer valve spring and the inner valve spring at the same time. Replacing all of the outer valve springs and inner valve springs at the same time is recommended but not required.
