Remove Expansion Tank And Water Lines (Marine Engine)
1. Drain the coolant from the expansion tank.2. Remove the four bolts from the tank drain elbow. 3. Remove hose (1) from the top of the expansion tank. Disconnect line (2) to the turbocharger cooling line. Remove bolt (4).4. Remove bolts (3) from the temperature regulator housings.5. Fasten a hoist to the expansion tank. Remove bolts (5). Remove the expansion tank. Weight of the tank is 77.1 kg (170 lb.). 6. Remove water line (6) and the elbows. Remove temperature regulator housings (7). 7. Remove elbows (8).8. Remove water line (11) and the elbows. Remove water line (9) and the elbows. Remove elbows (10).Install Expansion Tank And Water Lines (Marine Engine)
1. Install water line (2) and the elbows. Install elbows (3).2. Install water line (4) and the elbows.3. Install elbows (1). 4. Install water temperature regulator housing (6). Install water line (5) and the elbows.5. Fasten a hoist to the expansion tank. Put the tank into position on the engine. Install four bolts (10).6. Install bolts (11) into the temperature regulator housings.7. Connect hose (7) to the expansion tank and the line (8) to the turbocharger cooling line.8. Install hose clamp and bolt (9). 9. Install four bolts (12).10. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See the Maintenance Guide.
