Park the machine on a level surface.
Lower the blade in order to support the machine so that the rear tires are off the ground. The machine must be in a stable position in order to be able to turn the rear tires.
Unlock the differential.
Drain the oil below the level of the outer cover.

Remove the outer cover.

Remove the lock.

Install 9U-5017 Torque Wrench (Dial).
Check the torque. Refer to Table 1.
Refer to the adjustment procedure in Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, SENR8565, "Final Drive Bearings - Adjust" if the torque is incorrect.
