ALCOHOL INJECTOR (Left Side of Left Tractor)
EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE FLUID. While servicing Alcohol Injector, keep open flame away - NO SMOKING.
Regulator Valve
REGULATOR VALVE
1. Body. 2. Valve. 3. Air outlet. 4. Valve seat. 5. Air inlet. 6. Diaphragm. 7. Spring. 8. Vent opening. 9. Cover. 10. Spring retainer. 11. Adjustment screw. 12. Locknut. The regulator valve is in the air system between the air reservoirs on the left tractor and the air manifold, where the air lines to the transmission control valves, air lines to the steering clutch control valve and to the parking or emergency brake valve are connected. The regulator valve is installed on the air control panel below the floor plates under the seat. When the engine starts, the air compressor fills the air reservoirs, the air line to the regulator valve and goes through air inlet (5) into the valve chamber. When the pressure of the air in the valve chamber gets to 45 psi (3 kg/cm2) (310.5 kPa), the pressure has more force than spring (7). The pressure of the air moves diaphragm (6) and valve (2) moves away from valve seat (4). Now the air from the air reservoir and air compressor goes through open valve seat (4), through the air manifold to the control valves in the air system.Double Check Valve
The double check valves are also safety valves for the speed cylinders in both the left and right tractor and for the brakes in the right tractor. The valves have two air inlets (1) and (3) for pressure air. One of the air inlets is in the line from a control valve and the other air inlet is in the safety air line from a reserve air section of an air reservoir. One of air outlets (2) or (5) has a plug.
2R618 DOUBLE CHECK VALVE
1. Air inlet. 2. Air outlet. 3. Air inlet. 4. Guide. 5. Air outlet. 6. Shuttle.Pressure air in inlet (1) moves shuttle (6) against air inlet (3) and the air from inlet (1) goes through air outlets (2) and (5). Pressure air in inlet (3) moves shuttle (6) against air inlet (1) and the air from inlet (3) goes through air outlets (2) and (5). When the pressure of the air in the system goes below a safe operating pressure the air in the air reserve sections of the air reservoirs goes through the double check valves. The reserve air through two of the double check valves moves the speed cylinders (on the left and right tractor transmissions) to the NEUTRAL position. The reserve air through the other two double check valves puts on the brakes in the right tractor.Flow Control Valve
A flow control valve, in an air circuit, controls the air flow in one direction but the air flow from the other direction opens the valve. There are four flow control valves. One between the governor control valve and the air cylinder for the governor in each tractor and one in each of two air lines for the air cylinder
