Remove Brake Lubrication Relief Valve
1. Disconnect oil lines (1) and (2) from the brake lubrication relief valve. 2. Remove two bolts (4) and brake lubrication relief valve (3).Install Brake Lubrication Relief Valve
1. Inspect the O-ring seals on the face of the valve body for damage and make a replacement if needed. 2. Make sure the O-ring seal is in position and put brake lubrication relief valve (1) in position on the housing. Install bolts (3) that hold the brake lubrication relief valve to the housing. 3. Connect oil lines (2) and (4) to the brake lubrication relief valve.Disassemble Brake Lubrication Relief Valve
start by:a) remove brake lubrication relief valve1. Remove the O-ring seals from the face of the valve.
Cover (1) holds a spring under compression.
2. Remove cover (1) from the valve body. Remove the O-ring seal from the cover. 3. Remove spring (3) and valve spool (2) from the valve body. Remove the shims from the valve spool. 4. Remove slug (8), ring (7), retainer (6), spring (5) and plunger (4) from valve spool (2). 5. Push the dowel out from the valve body with a punch and hammer as shown. Remove stop (9). Remove the O-ring seal from the stop.Assemble Brake Lubrication Relief Valve
1. Make sure all parts of the valve are clean. Put clean hydraulic oil on all parts before the valve is assembled. Inspect all O-ring seals for damage and make a replacement if needed. 2. Install O-ring seal (2) on stop (1).3. Push the stop into the valve body until the hole in the stop is in alignment with the hole in the valve body. Install dowel (3) that holds the stop in position. Install the dowel to a depth of 0.2 in. (5 mm) below the surface. 4. Install plunger (4), spring (5), retainer (6) and ring (7) into valve spool (9). Install slug (8) in the valve spool. 5. Install valve spool (9), original shims (10) and spring (11) into the valve body. 6. Install the O-ring seal on cover (12) and install cover (12) on the valve body.7.
