1. Loosen two hose clamps (1) and slide hose onto tube (3).2. Remove fifteen bolts (4) and washers. Remove valve cover (2) and gasket. The following steps are for the installation of the valve cover.3. Install a new gasket for valve cover if needed. Put 5H2471 Cement on the contact surfaces of the gasket and valve cover when a new gasket is installed.

3304 Tightening Sequence4. Put valve cover (2) in position on the cylinder head. Install bolts (4) that hold the valve cover in place. Tighten the bolts in number sequence shown to a torque of 11 3 N m (8 2 lb.ft.).5. Install the hose to connect the breather to tube assembly (3). Tighten hose clamps (1).
