SOCKET 8T5314 - Caterpillar

1. Drain fluid from implement hydraulic tank or apply a vacuum to the top air cavity inside the implement hydraulic tank to reduce fluid loss from opening the hydraulic lines.

Remove the 8C-3446 Fluid Sampling Valve (12) from location E from the pilot relief valve block manifold as shown in Illustration 3 and Illustration 4.4. Install the 128-8588 Tee (11) and 3J-7354 O-Ring at location E where the pressure tap fitting was located.5. Install the 8C-3446 Fluid Sampling Valve (12) in the end of the 128-8588 Tee (11). Adjacent fittings may need to be removed to allow installation of 128-8588 Tee (11).6. Disconnect the pilot line hoses from fitting at locations A, B, C, and D as shown in Illustration 4. Note the location of each hose.7. Install 140-9359 Plate (9) with preassembled parts to the U-shaped channel bulkhead at location Z using two 8T-4140 Bolts (20), two 9R-7216 Spacer (23), two 9X-8257 Washers (22) and two 8T-4132 Nuts (21). Place the 9R-7216 Spacer (23) between the 140-9359 Plate and the U-shaped channel bulkhead8. Attach 143-1007 Tube (13) to the 128-8588 Tee (11) on the pilot relief valve block manifold.
Illustration 5. 9. Attach a 6V-9836 Tee (1) at locations A, B, C, D in Illustration 4 to the respective fittings at rear of the implement control valve where the pilot lines used to hook.10. Reattach the pilot lines to the respective 6V-9836 Tee (1) indicated as A, B, C, and D in Illustration 5.
